Needing Motivation
OK I am needing some motivation right now. I am in a running rut! That is why I have turned to other moms for some motivation. I haven't been able to run outside since Thanksgiving since it has been so icy and cold in Nebraska and treadmill running is getting a little old. Hopefully with the New Year Resolutions and everyone on my team I will be able to get back into it. I don't want to let anyone on the team down. Hopefully everyone else is finding the motivation also.

Okay Montana - here is a little motivation. Do you run on the treadmill when it is frosty cold outside? I despise treadmills. But I've even had to move some run indoors due to the cold lately. My key to actually doing it -- LOOK AT IT AS A GREAT OASIS AWAY FROM THE KIDS and INTERVALS!!! Not long intervals, just short ones make the miles fly by.
I do:
3 minute warmup slow
Then alternate 1/4 miles between 8-min pace and 7:30-min pace.
obviously, you do whatever pace you like. But I promise intervals make it so much more fun.
You can do it! Pretend you have tiny seeMOMMYrun cheerleaders in your pocket pinching you!!!
